Annual Meeting

At our planning meeting on April 21 at the Hale Koa, members will decide on Honolulu League's program for the coming year. The December meeting brought up several issues which come under state jurisdiction so that Honolulu members may make up the nucleus of state committees which will work on the issues.

The President's message in this issue presents more detail on the issues we will discuss. Alternate energy and water will be part of the focus of our action program. Informing ourselves and the community about Hawaiian issues was also brought up as well as transportation plans for Honolulu, specifically the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) plan.

Any other matters which members wish to tackle can be brought up on April 21.
