Membership Meeting on Dec. 9

Honolulu League is holding its annual planning meeting at the Hale Koa Hotel on December 9. Your Board of Directors has a packed agenda that solicits your input into the plans for 2007. Following lunch, and capping off the day, will be a talk by Cynthia Oi, editorial writer and columnist for the Star Bulletin. Her topic will be Reporting in Hawaii. Send any questions you may have for her to the League office by Dec 4. The questions will be consolidated and presented to Ms Oi prior to her talk.

The day will start with registration at 8:30 a.m. Our meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. You will hear reports of League activities and goals for 2007. We should be pau by 2:00 pm. The meeting will be in Lau Lima rooms 3 & 4. Bring a sweater as it can be chilly in those rooms.

At the end of the meeting, you will have had an opportunity to influence the Leagues path for 2007, enjoyed a Hale Koa meal, and shared time with an interesting and accomplished journalist. A constructive way to spend a Saturday, if you ask me. As Sue Miller said last month, What a deal! Food and Cynthia Oi, too!

Sign up now by completing the registration form in this issue of the Aloha Voter and mailing it to the office along with your check. Deadline for registration is December 4.
