Mrs. George Dreyfous, Guest Speaker

Mrs. George A. Dreyfous, member of the National. Board of the League of Women Voters, will be the guest of the Honolulu League at a luncheon at the Armed Services YMCA at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 23.

"I joined the League in order to understand my husband and my son when they were talking on legal and economic subjects and to get in an occasional word myself," says Mrs. Dreyfous. She started her League activity as membership chairman of the New Orleans League in 1947. In 1952 she was elected president and held that office for three years.

She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. She was for many years a psychologist for the Board of Education, the University School, and the Child Guidance Home in Cincinnati.

An extremely community minded person, she is a member of the Board of the Traveler's Aid, the Charter Advisory Committee for New Orleans, the Citizens Advisory Committee on Housing Improvement and Slum Prevention, and the Budget Committee of the Community Chest.

She was named to the National Board of the League in April, 1956. Her portfolio is "Individual Liberty" and Public Relations.
