Here's Your Chance to Do Something

The Voters Service Committee needs volunteers to help with the following projects --

Watch the world go by some busy Honolulu corner for an hour or so while you are distributing flyers urging people to register to vote: The LWV is having 10,000 eye-catching flyers printed and more womenpower is needed to see that they are all used This will be done in April so that registration may be completed 30 days prior to the special Charter Election early in June. Call Ruth Myers (707-012) and tell her you'll help -- and bring a friend.

Here's a good excuse to have a group of friends in for coffee during the month of May -- the LWV will furnish someone to explain the proposed City Charter to any group you assemble. Ask your friends in other organizations to have "coffees" and request a League speaker. If you will have a coffee hour or know someone who will please call Helen Fine (77-901).

The Voters Service Committee will provide you with the speech on the City Charter if you would like to volunteer your voice to deliver it at the aforementioned coffee hours. Helen Fine (77-901) will be delighted to have you volunteer for this service.
