Want to know more about the 19th Amendment, the National American Woman Suffrage Association, Susan B. Anthony, and Carrie Chapman Catt? Don't miss the Leonard Slater article in the September issue of McCall's.

Good News! Hawaii's television viewers will be privileged to share in one of NBC's choice educational television programs - "Continental Classroom." The topic, "The Structure and Functions of American Government, " will be offered Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 7:00 a.m., early October. The course will be taught by Dr. Peter H. Odegard, Professor of Political Science at the University of California at Berkeley. Our own University, along with more than 300 colleges and universities, is offering the course for full academic credit. NBC and Continental Classroom thinks that the League of Women Voters can be very helpful in arousing public interest in the course.
