Annual Meeting Time

"Gung Ho" members of the League of Women Voters will feel right at home in the Gung Ho room, Waikiki Lau Yee Chai, at the annual banquet Thursday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m. We are fortunate in having Dr. Robert Stauffer of the political science department of the University of Hawaii as our speaker; his talk on the United Nations will consider the impact of the Afro-Asian bloc and its implications for the United States.

Dr. Stauffer is a native of Pennsylvania, where he graduated from the state. college. He earned his master's degree at the University of Oklahoma, and did his doctoral work at the University of Minnesota. He has taught the course on the United Nations at the University of Hawaii for a period of years, and in 1957 spent six months at the United Nations as a visiting research man; his study and monograph concerned weighted voting.

Please invite husbands and friends-- dinner is $3.5O each, including tip. RSVP by April 15th to Lila Grossman, 39-387.
