Proposed Slate of Officers for 1962-1963


President (1 year) - Dr. Teru Togasaki
Teru has been a member of the Honolulu League since it was organized and had served in many capacities before taking the presidency last year. She is willing to carry on for another year.

First Vice-President (1 year) - Mrs. Arlen M. Scott
Alice was second vice-president in 1958-60, and first vice-president in 1960-61. She is currently chairman of the Manoa unit.

Second Vice-President (2 years) - Mrs. Robert B. Fellmeth
Jane is a new League member who has been working on the Local Agenda Item committee. She comes from Los Altos, California, where she served two years as a member of the City Planning Commission. She is a housewife and attends the Kailua unit.

Secretary (2 years) - Mrs. Ernest Simmerer
Betty is a new member who has been coming to the Waialae-Kahala unit meetings. She is a housewife and has recently been secretary of another organization -- the University Pre-School P.T.A.

Treasurer (2 years) - Miss Grace Yokoi
Grace was treasurer from 1956-1958 and is currently finishing a 2-year directorship as Publications Chairman.

Director (2years) - Mrs. A. M. Annas
Betty is currently Chairman of the Local Item. She has been on the board the past six months as an appointed director.

Director (2 years) - Miss Alison MacBride
Alison has served on various committees in the League and in 1959-60 was on the board as Finance Chairman.

Director (2 years) - Mrs. William Morse Carol is a new League member who has been attending unit meetings in Waialae-Kahala. She is a housewife with two pre-school children and is originally from Memphis, Tennessee.

Nominating Committee (1 year)

Mrs. H. B. Clyde, Jr., Chairman
Jean was first vice-president last year and has been chairman of the National Item for the past 2 years.

Mrs. Robert Black
Martha was membership chairman for two years in the Pasadena League and also served on the California State Organization Committee as advisor to the Monrovia and Whittier Leagues.

Mrs. Grace Smith
Grace has been secretary for the past four years. She was also delegate, to the national convention in 1960.

Further nominations may be made at the meeting (with consent of nominee).
