at "Workshop 70--How to Effectuate Legislation" which was held at the Ala henna Banquet. Hall. Along with the League of Women Voters, the Outdoor Circle and the Amorlo.3n Association of University Women heard Byron Baker, political commentator of KHVH, and State Representative Howard Miyaki stress the importance of knowing your legislator and the subject matter well before attempting to have legislation passed or defeated.
A panel discussed the mechanics of lobbying, past accomplishments and hope for future legislative action.
