Air Quality Standards What are they? Who sets them? What do the terms sulfur oxides, particulates, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, photochemical oxides mean? How do they concern us? What will be the League's role in the coming hearings? The man best qualified to answer your questions, Mr. Sheldon Samuels, regional field director in charge of air quality control, HEW, will be the speaker at a meeting sponsored by the Conservation Council and the Volunteer Committee (The League is represented in this organization).
