FINANCE - HOW IT CAN BE DONE

As the League broadens its relations in the community and also its contacts for contributions, so it must broaden its base of support within the League itself. And that means you the member. Many of you have responded to requests for contributions-Which have arrived in your dues statement. We appreciate this support for our day-to-day operation.

Have any of you thought of long term support, in the form of endowments - for general or specific purposes: bequests or setting up of scholarship programs? If you want to explore these ideas Please call Edna Shoup, Finance Chairman, or myself.

FROM THE FINANCE COMMTTTFE

The finance decided that we could earn extra cash for the League by having a pecan sale. The pecan halves are unavailable in the stores and we not only can make money but can do our Christmas shopping whilee adding dollars for our budget.

For further information attend your unit or call Edna Shoup 239-9894.
