Judy Blatchford testified before the City Council concerning the solid waste disposal portions of the County CIP budget, Her testimony was in favor of planning for recycling and resource recovery.

Pat Shutt testified in support of rent-control legislation before the House Housing committee,

Melvia Kawashima has had an education as a member of the Ad Hoc Commission on gas rationing.

Contact your legislators to maintain clean air standards, A letter to this effect has been sent to the Star-Bulletin,

Senators Fong and Inouye have received letters from our League regarding sewage treatment needs in Hawaii,

Locally we will follow the neighborhood commission when they begin to meet again. And we shall continue dialogue with the city as they develop procedures for the general plan revision.
