Further Details...

Council candidates don't get much publicity during an election year so we forget that the city council is the legislative body that most affects our daily lives.

Shall we preserve that "exceptional tree"? Where should resort development go: Should that theater be allowed to show and advertise its x-rated movies so close to an elementary school?

On Thursday October 26, 7:15 p.m. at the AAUW residence, we'll have the opportunity for informal chats with the Council candidates. Everyone will receive a list of. questions concerning density and growth, transportation, the elected prosecuting attorney, neighborhood Boards, etc" so that no one will feel tongue-tied.

Mark it on the calendar; have supper early; take your spouse and/or friends.
