Why do you buy sweetbread from the high school booster club when you can get it at the supermarket so much cheaper? You buy it because you not only enjoy sweetbread but you are willing to pay a bit more for it to help the booster club.
And in the same spirit you will buy and sell tickets for our MAKAMAKA MIXER, December 1st at the historic and newly refurbished Blaisdale Hotel. Not only are you going to have a terrific time nibbling on plentiful pupus, while sipping cocktails to lively music and chatting with very interesting people, but you will be helping the League financially. You care about the things League does and you know it needs your help.
Your tickets will arrive by mail. Sell all you can. See you at 5 p.m. on the first of December.
