City Council Study The City Council study is forming under the chairmanship of Carla Coray. This study if focusing on City Charter provisions regarding the City Council, leading to consensus no later than April, 1980. Interested members are needed and may call Carla at 395-3419 (r) or 533-4782 (b). The study was adopted at the last Annual Meeting and, for those who have forgotten, will look at the following areas: -Should the Council be full or part-time? -Should there be any change in Council confirmation of administration department heads? -Should Council members be limited in the number of terms they may serve? Should terms be staggered? -Should Council elections be partisan or non-partisan? -Should Council members be elected from both single and at-large districts?
