issues oriented people

Are you concerned by what you read in the papers? Do you wish you could speak out? Then you're the one to help ARLENE WOO, League's Viewpoint voice. She tapes one editorial a week and wants to bounce ideas with a small committee. Call her. 537-6534 or leave a message at the office.

school board monitor

We have a new School Board and need someone to monitor meetings, keep track of minutes, be prepared to testify on legislation, and keep members up to date on what is going on. If you have school-age children, the job would have more immediacy, but anyone may apply. Call PAT SHUTT, 239-8229 or leave a message at the office.

writers and interviewers

Are you interested in reapportionment, or would you like to be? We're planning a publication and need help. Prior experience not necessary but talent and interest would be nice. Call CAROL WHITESELL, 2616114, or PAT SHUTT, 239-8229.

We need someone fascinated with the international scene (not the jet set). We have LWV national reports on international relations, trade, the UN, foreign aid -- and we need someone to review these reports and perhaps write updates for the VOTER. Call BARBARA FARWELL, 423-1681
