Looking Ahead with League
In this issue we're asking members to take a few minutes to think about our program for 1982-83. DON'T PUT IT OFF: DO IT NOW: The Board needs your opinions, your recommendations. This is YOUR LEAGUE.
The Nominating Cmte also needs to hear from you. JERRY HESS is the person to call, 293-8637. We have 240 members but the committee does not know them all -- and would appreciate recommendations. Even if you can't serve, perhaps you know of a wonderful someone who can.
Those of you who have been to the office are aware that our building is the last structure standing next to a gaping emptiness and it too will soon be leveled. So we're office hunting. Any suggestions?
We don't need to be reminded that inflation affects everyone, including LWV. We're looking for a SPECIAL PERSON who can help us cope with spiraling expenses -- someone aggressive and creative, someone with innovative ideas about fund raising. If it isn't you, do you know who it is? Call Barbara Farwell right away.
