Vote Count News

CLAIRE GREGORCYK, a veteran of many a vote count, has agreed to assume the position of vote-count chair. She will function as coordinator and will be responsible for soliciting vote-count jobs and finding people to head the individual elections and vote counts.

THE TEAMSTERS LOCAL 681 VOTE COUNT IS SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 22 beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Aiea High' School. Carol Whitesell reports that we could use more workers for this count. Call Carol at 531-7448.

Carol and Arlene met with the Hotel Workers Union Election Committee and agreed to do their count in January. The date is tentatively set for January 26-27. The Pearl Harbor Credit Union will be holding their elections in March.

BARBARA HODGES and her team made up of Claire Gregorcyk, Edna Shoup, and Myrne Blomquist, earned $135.00 for League doing the vote count for the Hawaii Nursing Association. They collectively donated 19 hours of their time in addition to the hours Barbara spent planning for and organizing the vote count.
