Vote Count News

Vote Count Chair, Claire Gregorcyk, promises some busy months ahead for our vote counters and a healthy boost to our bank account.

Slated for October 24 or 25 is the vote count for the Hawaii Nurses Association, a small one requiring four workers.

November is when we will need all of you out in full force with the United Public Workers vote count coming on probably the 19th, and the SHOPO vote count scheduled for the 30th. Both of these will be all-day affairs and will probably continue into the evening hours.

The vote count for the Private Sector union under the United Public Workers will be held on about the 16th of December.

SIGN UP FOR ONE OR ALL OF THESE IMMEDIATELY so that Claire and her Coordinators can plan the work schedule. It's a lot of work, but, as Claire puts it, it beats a bake sale.

The dates are subject to slight changes.
