Legislative Committee Gearing up for Action

With the opening day of the 1984 Legislative session scheduled for January 18, State League Legislative Chair, Marion Saunders has issued a call for help in monitoring bills and lobbying.

The first bills will be introduced on January 23, and on January 24 and every Tuesday during the legislative session, the committee will be screening bills, deciding on the action to take, and discussing areas where League might take the initiative and propose legislation.

YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO JOIN THE ACTION every Tuesday at noon at the League office even if you are not interested in actively lobbying.
