"The LWVEF has received a grant of $10,000 from the LTV Corporation to finance the printing of a new edition of Easy Does It: Registration and Absentee Voting Procedures by State. The 1984 chart should be ready in February.


"The LWVEF has received a grant of $50,000 from the C.S. Mott Foundation for the third year of the Hazardous Waste Project. We are still awaiting word on proposals sent to other potential funders. The project's third year will continue the work already begun and incorporate some new elements, including on-site assistance to state and local Leagues and a workshop and possible tour at Convention '84.


"The League will cosponsor the Nation-al Conference on Women, the Economy and Public Policy, scheduled for June 19-20, 1984 in Washington D.C. As a cosponsor, the League will be involved in planning this conference on women's economic and social rights."
