Report from the Hill

When Congress reconvenes this month, final Senate action will be pending on several top priority League issues!

CLEAN WATER is up for action... so is ARMS CONTROL in the appropriations process... and another active issue among League members will be passage of the CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1984. We urge League members to write your Congressmember today on these issues. If you act now, our chances of prevailing will be vastly increased. DO IT!
