Governor Declares Coast Week in Hawaii

Memos from the Honolulu Board

Watch your January Voter for a report from Nan Luter on specific Voter Service activities, hours worked by volunteer members, and the achievements and monetary rewards received during this year of 1984. She will also give us an idea of the programs being planned for 1985, coordinating intent, members, publicity and activities that can help US "MAKE OUR MARK ON POLITICS."

National will be directing Post-Election Congressional Interviews. These are normally coordinated by State Leagues, but some Board members may be asked to participate and are urged to do so if they can, as they are most informative and puts one a step closer to Capitol Hill.

The League has received an invitation to the Governor's Tourism Congress for December 10-11 at the Sheraton Waikiki. One Board member will attend as an official representative.

The Planning Committee has submitted several pieces of testimony to the City's departments on planning issues. They are available for reading in the file under Testimony. They are technical and demonstrate the good work that League members can accomplish.
