WE PAUSE TO REMEMBER....
Allan R. Saunders will be long remembered and deeply mourned by the community to which he dedicated so much concern in his full productive and remarkable 91-year life. He has been credited with many contributions.... father of the Honolulu League of Women Voters, founder of ACLU in Hawaii, inspired teacher and shaper of students, source of constant refreshment of ideas and vigor to both citizen volunteers and members of government.
We extend our condolences and aloha to his family.
