"The LVW Presents..."

P>The June program featured guests Richard Pollock, economist and UH professor; Linda Smith, former Director, city Department of Finance; Lowell Kalapa, Executive Director, Tax Foundation of Hawaii; and Karen Ahn, moderator on a discussion of City Funding.

This month's program features Dr. Mary Ann Raywid, Professor of Administration and Policy Studies at Hofstra University in New York and Marion Saunders in a stimulating dialog about the problems in schools that are unique to Hawaii and those that are similar to large city schools on the mainland.

The August program will be on public participation in the legislature. Guests will be announced later.

"The League of Women Voters Presents" is shown on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. on Channel 20.
