Political Debates to Air
Issues to be discussed on candidates' TV night
The League of Women Voters announced it has arranged with KGMB-TV for a night of political debates Oct. 20.
At least three of the most interesting political races of the campaign season will be covered, with candidates debating the important issues of this election year, the League said.
The debates will be held at the KGMB studios and air from 7 to 10 p.m. KGMB has offered to feed the program to all interested radio and television stations.
The league and KGMB are working on a format to allow viewers to see and participate in the event.
