Council 1993 - Washington D.C.
LWV of Hawaii Convention - May 15, 1993
Mark Saturday, May 29, and Saturday, June 26. We will need at least 30 vote counters each day for the Carpenters Union vote count at 1311 Houghtailing Street from 8:30 a.m. until we finish in the late afternoon.
Jobs range from alphabetizing envelopes, checking names on rosters, removing ballots from envelopes, banding ballots into stacks of 25, tallying votes, etc. Everyone qualifies. We do not discriminate by age, gender, physical condition or beauty. Bring your good humor, cushion if you need one, appetite if you like eating and join the fun.
The best part is knowing that you are doing a much-needed public service for the Carpenters and helping League pay the rent and overhead. Call the League office today and volunteer.
Breakfast and lunch will be served.
