All Aboard for Convention '96

It is not over yet! Our 75th Anniversary continues into 1996. The League's Diamond Anniversary, Convention '96 will be held in Chicago from June 8 – 12, 1996 – the perfect kickoff to the next 75 years'. Plans include flying to St. Louis and joining in the festivities there on June 7th. St. Louis will have bands, banners, speeches, and plenty of fun and celebration. From there we will be boarding a special train recreating the suffragists' original route for Chicago. Return to Hawaii will be via air from Chicago.

LWVUS has booked the convention and rooms at the Chicago Hilton and we will be receiving information on prices very soon. If we have enough participants we may arrange to have our own Hawaii car on the train. Check your calendars. And call Suzanne at 531-7448 if you are interested. The more the merrier!
