Campaign Finance Information Paper The delegates to the State Convention on 5/31/97 agreed to review the State League's position on indirect financing of candidates for public office and consider the addition of direct public financing of qualified candidates. An informational paper is in progress and will soon be completed and distributed to all League members. We urge you to read the paper, fill in your decision on the questionnaire, and mail it to your respective local League. These will be compiled, acted on by your Boards, and submitted to the State League Board for concurrence. Opening envelopes is much faster than making phone calls to encourage members to respond, so please take a few minutes to mark your questionnaire and return it. Member identification is not required.
