Hawaii Elections Project

In response to requests for a brief blurb about H.E.P to be used to send to friends and associates as a solicitation, the following is offered.

"The Hawaii Elections Project is working for a new kind of voluntary campaign finance reform. Public financing of elections will allow any candidate who shows substantial community support to be competitive in a political race. It restores the idea of "one person, one vote," and begins to correct the imbalance of power in favor of rich donors. It is constitutional, it is realistic, and it has been done in four states so far. Our movement in Hawaii is growing, and we need your help. Please agree to be part of our active supporters and email community so that we can create Clean Money Campaign Finance Reform for Hawaii."
