State Convention

Our State Convention will be held on Saturday, April 28th at Tokai University in Honolulu. Both of our Congress Representatives, Neil Abercrombie and Maizie Hirono have agreed to speak, unless they are hung-up in Washington, D.C. We do have an exciting back-up speaker lined-up. Our delegates will be: Sue Dursin, Co-president; Leilani Bronson-Crelly and Lois Cecil from East Hawaii; and Donna Oba from West Hawaii. Sue Irvine will be attending as State President.

Our membership count allows us up to 6 delegates, in addition to our president, so if there are other active Leaguers who would like to attend, let Sue Dursin know. Our League will reimburse delegates for the $25 registration/lunch fee and round trip airfare. For further information, see our fabulous state website www.lwv-hawaii.com and click on the latest state newsletter, Ka Leo Hana.
