An Invitation: Saunders Hall Dedication

Several months ago the Regents of the University of Hawaii renamed the Social Sciences Building "Saunders Hall." The building is named for Allan and Marion Saunders. As you will recall, Allan and Marion jointly founded the League of Women Voters of Honolulu, and Marion helped establish Leagues on Hawaii and Kauai.

The dedication ceremony for Saunders Hall is to be held in that building, on April 22 at 4:30. A reception will follow. All League members are invited to attend both dedication and reception. At the ceremony, Roger Fonseca will speak briefly about Allan, and Penny Pagliaro will speak about Marion.

They need counts in order to know how many chairs to set up, and the refreshments to order. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. Call 9566934, or email at uhevents@hawaii.edu.
