Hawaii Coalition Against Legalized Gambling (HCALG)

Most of the activities since the last board meeting concern housekeeping affairs, such as filing scanned material in the computer and on disc. In addition HCALG participated in the fundraising appeal with "Give Aloha" at Foodland. The results were gratifying since the combined additional gifts from Foodland and Western Union added about 1/3 more to our contributions. HCALG is taping an Olelo program called "Living Aloha." It will be shown on Thursday, December 8, at 8:30 pm on Channel 52. We hope to share with neighbor islands. HCALG is currently planning activities when the Legislature opens. They have no idea how many relevant bills may be introduced but will keep on top of them as they appear.

Liaison to HCALG
