State Program-Planning Time

What attracts women to the League? PROGRAM:. What challenges members to remain? PROGRAM. What draws nation-wide attention to the League at all levels of government? The answer (with apologies to Voter Service) is again PROGRAM. During December members, both individually and through local Leagues, have the opportunity and the responsibility to consider what program item(s) they would like to work on during 1967-1969. The final decision will be made by delegates to the 1967 State Convention in April. They must choose from among the suggestions made now.

In this issue of the VOTER the two current agenda items are discussed by their chairmen. In addition, other possible program areas are mentioned to stimulate your thinking. There are, of course, many others which will occur to thoughtful League members. The field of possibilities is wide open.

Marguerite Simson
President
