Bills are on file in the League office in Honolulu. For League please drop a note to your Senators or Representatives for bills we are in favor of or oppose. Exercise your citizen right and contact your elected officials concerning bills in which you are personally interested . One state legislator remarked that if he depended on hearing from his constituents on how to vote, he would never vote on any bill because in 4 years of office holding, he had heard from his constituents 6 times::

FLASH: The bills have passed in both houses in favor of the 18 year old vote. This means that in 1972 there will be on the ballot a proposed Constitutional Amendment to lower the voting age to 18 years from the present age of 20 years in the Constitution.
