Whitesell Who ?!! Carol Whitesell. And she's the new LWV/Hawaii State Vice-President. Carol first joined the Hawaii League as a Hilo member in 1964. She subsequently moved to Oahu and joined the Honolulu League in 1967. Carol has served the League in various capacities over the years. She has been a Unit Coordinator, Land Use Chairperson (1971), State League Vice-President (1971-73), and Honolulu League President (1975-77). Carol has also written and researched several League publications such as: "State Planning in Hawaii: A Primer," and "Program and Action." In community affairs, Carol has served as State Land Use Commissioner since 1975.
