Debates Conference Gets Gannett GrantThe League of Women Voters of Hawaii Education Fund will be sponsoring a Conference on Debates for Statewide and Federal Offices in Hawaii. Approximately 40 community and League members will be invited to attend the conference, which will be held in late January or early February. Participants will explore various aspects of debates. MAHALO TO THE GANNETT FOUNDATION for their contribution, which will make this conference possible. Because of their generous support we will be able to bring over a member from each of the Neighbor Island Leagues to attend the conference. Anne Lee is working on the details of the conference.
