Why Don't We Vote?

When voting in the U.S. is compared with other countries, we place almost last, with an average over ten years of only 53 percent of eligible voters participating. From 1952 until 1960 voter participation here was 64 percent, slowly declining until it reached a low of 50 percent in 1983, but reviving somewhat in 1992.
