1999 Study is Revisited, MaryAnne Raywid, chair A study conducted in 1999 by Mary Anne Raywid is being revisited at the request of the State LWV of Hawai’i. Kaua’i chapter was the only one in Hawai’i that did not come to consensus on this issue. Members are asked to review these consensus questions to submit by Monday, December 4, 2006 at the General Membership meeting, 10:30 a.m. YWCA, Lihue or by mail to the LWV PO Box 1181, Lihue 96766.

1. Should the League of Women Voters of Hawai’i support voting by mail for any elections? YES or NO (circle one)

2. Check which types of elections you would like to see conducted by mail?

___ General Elections
___ Primary Elections
___ Special Statewide Elections
___ Special county elections, such as for referendum or initiative measures
