Representative James Kunane Tokioka, Chair, Vice Chair Blake K. Oshiro, members of the Committee on Legislative Management, The League of Women Voters supports HB 1364 which would require a report from the governor or the director of finance to the legislature whenever any expenditure of any appropriation authorized by the legislature is restricted. The kind of information requested in the report is reasonable and makes for accountabilty in the release or withholding of appropriated funds. Thank you for the opportunity to testify on this bill.
