COMMITTEE ON HEALTH Chair Yamane, Vice Chair Nishimoto, members of the committee The League of Women Voters of Hawaii Supports tort reform in Hawaii. The intent of this bill can begin to reduce the overwhelming litigation and costs related to providing health care in Hawaii, and hopefully begin to reduce the overall cost of health care as we begin to develop plans for economic recovery.
