The League of Women Voters supports HB 2900 relating to Electronic Voting. This bill clarifies any questions that may linger after the passage of last year's bill which called for voter verifiable paper audit trails. It also codifies the importance of the paper reproductions of the voter-verified ballot for manual audit purposes in validating the election results, and its use in recounts when recounts are necessitated. We urge the passage of HB 2900. Thank you for this opportunity to testify on HB 2900.
