League at Opening Day of the Legislature It was a wild and windy day at the rotunda of the Capitol when about 18 Leaguers blew up balloons, and went in teams to visit every legislator with our packet of desired legislation. One of the fun things occurred when we sent one team of two MEN with League of WOMEN Voter buttons on. It created laughs and made a statement about men members. There were League balloons in every office. The bonus was a good feed at the end, as the Legislators were most generous.
