New HEP Executive Director Appointed

WILL BEST is the newly appointed Executive Director of the Hawaii Election Project (HEP) replacing Brian Schatz who resigned; to resume his duties as a legislator. Will has been the treasurer of HEP for the past year and has been working with Brian Schatz in the effort to educate the public about public financing of campaigns. Will is currently teaching math at Punahou. He also has a major in physics from Haverford College, his alma mater.
