April 10 Annual Meeting at New Venue Honolulu League will hold its Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 10 at JJ Bistro & French Pastry located at 3447 Waialae Avenue in Kaimuki between 9th and 10th Avenues. The major business will be approval of the budget and election of officers. State representative Cynthia Thielen will speak on energy issues, including generating electricity from ocean waves. The menu for the day will include an appetizer, soup, choice of entree, and your selection of dessert from the display case. The French pastries include JJ’s famous chocolate pyramid. There is a vegetarian option. Cost for the meeting including lunch and early morning coffee service is $25. For restaurant parking, turn onto 9th Avenue going toward the ocean where there are 25 parking spaces behind the building on the left hand side of the road. Also, the restaurant is on the No. 1 bus line with a stop in either direction at Waialae and 9th Avenues. As usual we will have registration at 8:30, start the meeting at 9 and break for lunch at noon, followed by the speaker. Please send in registration form below.
