Perhaps we can't learn to like paying high taxes, but we owe it to ourselves to know where our how government gets its money and how it is spent. Mrs. Brissenden to Lead Groups The first of the study groups which will take up the discussion of the federal budget will meet on Wednesday, November 22, 1950 at 7:30 P.M. at the home of Miss Ethel Spaulding, 2057 Lanihuli Drive, under the leadership of Mrs. Paul Brissenden. Mrs. Brissenden is the Economic Chairman of the New York State League of Women Voters. Members wishing to attend these study groups are asked to sign up at the general membership meeting to be held on Wednesday, November 15 at the Y.W.C.A.
