199 "They Appoint"s Sold on Election DayMembers who turned salesman on Election Day agreed that it was lots of fun and that at the next election we must make an effort to reach more voters in the 5th District and to have our first
booklet "WE ELECT" reprinted since there was great demand for it. 19 League members and one friend of the LWV participated in the project designed to make our latest publication readily available to voters. Nine polling places were covered--some for a few hours only sales ranged from 2 to 71 with a total of 199 booklets sold on November 4.
