Federal Assistance ProgramPublic Law 660 was passed by Congress in 1956 to provide an annual appropriation of $50,000,000 for the subsequent ten years to aid communities to construct sewage treatments works. The law provides that federal funds may be granted to meet 30% of the cost of a sewage treatment project. Honolulu has obtained approval for ten projects, totaling $1,500,000 in grants to assist their construction. Submitted by the Local Agenda Committee
