LWV Monitors Latest HSTA Strike Vote On March 15th 10 members of Honolulu LWV monitored voting and counted ballots for the HSTA strike vote. This was another opportunity for the League to gain public recognition, to sharpen its election skills and to earn badly needed money for the organization. The "chief election officer" for the evening was Associate Member Rev. Claude DuTeil. Leaguers assisting were: Carol Whitesell, Edie Farsberg, Suzanne Thorndike, Rhoda Miller, Pat Shutt, Beryl Wade, Grace Bowers, Frances Dohme, Lucille Rogers. Many thanks for all your help.
