Windward Evening - Unit Report We made it! A windward evening unit with a more-or-less Kaneohe base survived a first season and is set for a second. The consensus is that we have good potential for a Unit with long life, having gained a new member or two and several interested friends as the months passed. Our representation at General Meetings was noticeably good. Our members are actively interested in Windward problems and often had conflicting meetings around which we tried to plan. We are concerned with increasing ability of Unit members to work in their neighborhood communities as Leaguers and would appreciate some thinking on this from Units with history along these lines. Busy Bev Carter has accepted the chairmanship for the 73-74 year and Betty Tobiasson will keep an eye on membership. Come meet with us some time if you have an evening to spare. Betty Tobiasson
