Voters Service - Capitol Tours

If more Leaguers are interested in joining this exciting project, please call Gretel McLane at 734-0804. It means working one morning a month (Or more often if you like it) from 9:30 to roughly 11:30, and leading two tours of 30 to 45 minutes each. We are beginning our efforts with high school and intermediate school students, and will branch out into the tourist trade in a few months if all goes well.

Thank you to the members who have already volunteered to be trained as League guides. Training sessions at the Capitol will be held on Tuesday, August 14, and Thursday, August 23, at 9:30 a.m., and we will meet in the open court in front of the Father Damien statue. Sometime before then, you will receive some background material. Please go over it thoroughly before the training session.
